Is my house hold poly water tank water drinkable?
In most cases yes but best to check with your local government laws and regulations to ensure this is allowable and if you are planning to use your tank water for drinking water always a good idea to have your tank cleaned to ensure Pristine clean water.
How long will my tank last?
This depends on allot of factors and unknowns, age, quality, wear and tear and environmental aspects all playing a part.
How to connect the pump to my tank?
There’s a variety of recommendations out there on how to connect your pump to your tank and depending on every different tank situation and pump position is a different solution and outcome.

The pipe connecting to your poly water tank should not be ridged or restricted in any way to allow as much movement as possible allowing your tank to naturally expand and contract throughout being filled and emptying and change of daily temperatures throughout the year.
Is poly or concrete tanks better?
Concrete tanks have been around for along time and also have had there issues along the way,

More recently over the last 30 years plastic poly tanks have slowly become popular and now appear on the market everywhere now days dominating the market and they too over time have had their issues.

Does hot weather and humidity cause my tank to fail?
Hot Weather can have some effects on your tank over time leading to prematurely have issues in some situation.
Can my slimline be repaired?
Most slimline tanks are repairable.
Now my tank has been repaired should I only allow it fill halfway up?
If your tank has been repaired properly and your tank is still in good condition there’s no reason your tank cannot be filled to the top and be used normally.
Do you plastic weld my tank to repair?

Is my tank worth repairing?
Most tanks can be repaired at a substantially lower cost over replacement cost of purchasing a quality new tank and the hassle and cost involved in the changeover cost from old to new.
Why have my tank repaired?
Repairing your poly water tank is very cost-efficient saving u a lot of $$$$ and normally is a hassle-free exercise over the huge hassle and expensive exercise of replacing your poly water tank also repairing your water tank is environmentally friendly and reduces your footprint on the earth saving energy in manufacturing of raw plastic materials all posing a cost on the environment.
How do I know where my tank is leaking?
Poly water tanks leak most commonly from around the bottom of the side walls usually around tap outlets and caped bung areas or places design for tap outlets where the tank wall changes direction allowing for flat surfaces for tap tank outlets to be placed onto the flat section leading to leaks on the change of direction radius curves of the tank wall.

Also if the platform your tank is sitting on is in poor condition or tree roots, stones or uneven tank bases all can lead to splitting cracked and damaged floors causing leaks in your poly water tank.

Slimline tanks commonly leak in between the cylinders and adjoining cylinder tanks on top of the bottom holding tank connecting the cylinders together on seams or in the recess windows close or on the seam depending on the brand and design of your slimline tank.
Will my tank leak again?
This is a hard one to answer due to there’s a large amount of variables in every individual plastic tank circumstances and allot of different factors can change the outcome.
What caused my tank to split?
There’s many reasons why plastic tanks can split.

Should I only let my tank fill half way to avoid splitting?
This is a question we often get asked. There should be no reason why your tank cannot be filled to the top.
Did my tank split because it filled to fast?
Your tank is designed to hold water and as long as your overflows and filter screens and pipes are clean and clear of any debris there is no reason why your tank can fill to fast and split by rain fall. More likely there’s other reasons why your tank is splitting.
Should I keep my tank full to avoid it splitting?
Your tank is designed to be able to hold water at any level so if your tank is in good condition there shouldn’t be any reason why your tank cannot be used normally.
Can you fix a split leading off the tank outlet?
Yes definitely we are very skilled at repairing leaking tank outlets / inlets on plastic tanks.
Is plastic able to be welded?
Yes plastics in the Thermoplastic family are able to be plastic welded using specialist plastic welding equipment.
